Rabies Vaccination

All dogs over four months of age must be vaccinated against rabies, as required by Illinois State law.

• If paid within 30 days, fee as printed
• Paid within 31 to 60 days, fee + $3.00 fine
• Paid within 61 to 90 days, fee + $30.00 fine
• Over 90 days—legal action taken with a summons to appear in court

Leash Law Strictly Enforced

All dogs when not in a building, pen or fenced yard must be on a leash. Failure to observe this Stephenson County law may be punishable by fine or arrest.
