2008 DELINQUENT TAX LIST
A list of delinquent lands and town lots situated in the County of Stephenson
and the State of Illinois upon which the general and special taxes remain
due and unpaid, and the name of the owners, as far as I know, and the
amount of taxes due thereon for the year 2008, and previous years, County
Collector, Adrienne J. Becker, will ask for judgment, October 30th,
2009 , and the Tax Sale will take place on November 4th, 2009 at 9:30
A.M. (CST), in the Stewart Centre 7th Floor Conference Room. I, Adrienne
J. Becker, County Treasurer and Ex-Officio Collector of Stephenson County
and State of Illinois, do hereby give notice that I will apply to the
Circuit Court of Freeport, Illinois on October 30, 2009, for judgment
against the lands and lots for the taxes described on the Delinquent
lands and lots upon which the taxes or any part thereof remain due and
unpaid; and shall also apply for judgment fixing correct amount of any
tax paid under protest.
NOTICE is further given that on November 4, 2009, the 1st Wednesday
succeeding the date of application of all the lands and lots for sale
of which an order shall be made, will be exposed to public sale at the
Stewart Centre at Freeport, Illinois, for the amount of taxes and costs
thereon.
